Obama Releases the Birth Certificate

Hard to believe in a nation so troubled with war, natural disasters not to mention rising gas pricing we need to be concerned if the President of the United States is a natural born citizen. Today the White House produced the birth certificate showing that President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.
Hopefully this will keep attention grabbers like Donald Trump quiet for a month so the President can concentrate on the more important items like the budget deficit.
Obama began his five minute statement this morning at 9:45 am with a tongue lashing to all the the reporters and really all of America for their concern over this small of a matter. Noting that if he needed a break in scheduled programming for a speech on policy proposals he would not be getting this much attention.
“We are not going to be able to do it if we are distracted, we are not going to be able to do it if we spend time vilifying each other … if we just make stuff up and pretend that facts are not facts, we are not going to be able to solve our problems if we get distracted by side shows and carnival barkers,” the president said.
This document is slightly different from the on produced but White House aides during the 2008 presidential campaign. That was a “certification” of live birth, this is a “certificate” clearly showing that he was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu.
Of course, with the amount of time that has since past, I’m sure someone among the Presidents men could come up with a place to get a “fake” birth certificate. Enough is enough let’s move past this and solve some country wide issues like the mortgage problems that seems to be on the minds of most Americans.
