Kara DioGuardi Shares Deep Dark Past In New Book

Former American Idol judge and songwriter Kara DioGuardi shares some deep dark secrets from her past in a new book A Helluva High Note. The book out next week will shares her sexual assault steaming back to the age of 11.
Later in the year 2000 Kara claims of a date rape sceneario that started out as just dinner but turned into a heated time with a music producer on top of her screaming sweet nothing in spanish that she could not understand. DioGuardi, being the sweet girl that she is, does not provide us the name of the famous music producer. This scene is described along with other of phone calls and incidents that really show the shady side of the music business. For example, she details events of watching Russian porn and strippers leaving her nothing to say but “I could have sued Sony for millions of dollars”.
The book “A Helluva High Note” also reveals her desire to get pregnant and how the that was difficult in the high-stress environment of American Idol. The long hours and demanding schedule forcing her to ask the shows producer to release her from her contract last year.
Many believe that the changes brought on by American Idol was not DioGuardi decision at all but a total change to the “Idol” environment. Simon was on his way out to do another show and Paula not having an opinion led to the producers to make decision to breath life back into the show. Instead the audience has no one to tell them how to vote, much the way Simon did, and as a result each week loose talented singing the like of Pia who already has a contract waiting for her when the tour is over.
