Jesse “The Body” Ventura made it very clear today on ABC’s “Good Morning America” that he would love to be Ron Pauls’ running mate for the presidential canidate.
What makes Ventura qualified for this position? Most recently Ventura’s resume includes being the 38th Governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003. He currently is the host of a TV show on TruTV’s show Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, the author of American Conspiracies a popular book exposing many of the cover ups in the United States. Previously he was a wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation for 10 years where an injury forced him into the commentary booth. His career started as a Navy seal from from 1969 to 1975. No need to say Ventura is no spring chicken at age 60.
Ron Paul won the Libertarian nomination in 19988 presidential race and tried to get the Republican Nomination in 2008. He continues to try and get nominations for the 2012 presidential race and will need plenty of help just to get the nod.
There is no indication that Paul has asked for a partner in Ventura but he certainly offered himself up this morning making his point that he would consider to be on the White House ticket. Ventura is certainly very clear in his political stand and would not run as a Republican or a Democrat. His ideas and well known political stand offers up that those two parties are the problem and he wants to be part of as solution.
