Hyundia and Samsung join together for a Smart Car

Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Company have decided to join forces and consider the development of a smart car.
Samsung Electronics is the world’s second largest mobile phone maker. If you have had more than one cell phone in your life chances are you have owned a Samsung or a subsidiary of Samsung’s phone.
Hyundai Motor Company is South Korea’s top auto manufacture and has been building auto’s in the US with a 10 year 100K mile warrantee’s for several years now.
A Hyundai representative said Samsung was “one of the potential partners we have met,” for the project to build what is termed “smart cars” with mobile phone or Internet capabilities built in.
Hyundai has developed its own tablet PC and apparently plans to install them in its cars starting 2013. The latest deal is likely to involve Samsung’s smart phones being linked to Hyundai’s tablet PCs, enabling smart phone users to share applications and content with the tablet PC.
