Day Light Savings Time To Begin Tomorrow
May 15, 2011 | Home
Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March (13th) and lasts until 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in November (6th).
Really you don’t save the hour cause you end up giving it back in the all. It should be called Daylight Loaning Time. Spring an hour ahead, fall an hour back.
Most of the country recognizes the Daylight savings time that was originally set up for young kids that were going to school. Some of them would end up coming home in the evening and it was almost dark. Making a trip from the bus stop to the house a dark and scary one. Now the dark and scary part comes in the morning on the way to the bus stop since they are leaving for school so early.
The farmers don’t like the daylight savings time but then again, do they really care? They are up at dawn, no matter what time it is and the work well into the evening no matter how dark it gets. There is an entire state that pays no attention to daylight savings time that would be Arizona. Of course, who wants another hour of blistering hot sun?
So don’t forget to set your clocks ahead tonight before you go to bed, you will thank yourself in the morning.
