The United States will not recognize any possible talks between North Korea and South Korea unless the talks result in the ban of all nuclear weapons on the Korean Peninsula, US Envoy to the United Nations Nikki Haley said on Tuesday.
"The United States supports the Iranian people and calls on the regime to respect its citizens' basic rights to peacefully express their desire for change", White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told reporters. "All freedom-loving people must stand with their cause", she said.
In a New Year's Day address Kim Jong-un said the USA could not start a war against his country because he has a nuclear weapons button on his desk and claimed the whole of America is in the range of his missiles.
