Over the past few days, Pittsburgh Steelers fans and players have been raging about James Harrison, and while the fans were upset the organization and how he signed with the Patriots, his former players blasted him for the way he handled the situation to force his way out. After being released by the Steelers last week, it took less than a week before 39-year-old Harrison was in a different uniform.

The Patriots signed Harrison on Wednesday, and he made his presence felt in his first game with his new team. He's done talking about his departure from the Steelers.

Harrison played a total of 40 defensive snaps with the Steelers prior to him being waived.

Before two sacks to cap off the game when the outcome wasn't in doubt, Harrison's highlight play came early in the third quarter when he backpedaled at the snap, planted his foot into the ground, then charged downhill and wrapped up receiver Robby Anderson short of the sticks for a stop on third-and-5.

Veteran news anchor Amanda Davis dies
Davis had said in the interview she had grappled with coming to terms with her disease: 'Even then I questioned it, ' she said . The anchor struggled with alcoholism while in the public eye, finding herself in a vehicle crash and being arrested for a DUI.

At this juncture, there is no set plan in what manner that Harrison will be used with the Patriots.

The James Harrison-to-New England saga this past week had more drama than a middle school cafeteria, with Harrison and his former teammates trading accusations and counter-accusations about who wanted it more and who worked harder and who really has a crush on whom and who's going to ask whom to the prom.

The Patriots' edge spot on defense has been an evolving picture all season, with coach Bill Belichick having noted that the team has worked with nearly 10 different players because of a combination of injuries and personnel decisions that didn't pan out. On the next play, Lee and Harrison swapped sides. So, it might be safe to say that No. 92 could see plenty of playing time in his first game with the Patriots.

Now they'll need more of it, as the stakes only become that much higher in the playoffs.
