Cleveland police say they first received a tip from Pakistan.

Larissa Rodriguez, the jailed mother of a missing 5-year-old boy, led police to the abused body of her son Jordan on Tuesday according to the affidavit.

Jordan's disappearance went unknown until Monday, when the brother of Larissa Rodriguez's boyfriend, Christopher Rodriguez, called Cleveland police from Pakistan, police said.

Rodriguez was placed under arrest while authorities investigate her son's death but has not been criminally charged. That's when the boy's mother was taken into custody. According to the police report, she referred to Jordan's father as a "donor" who she met on Facebook. She allegedly said the 5-year-old boy, who has special needs and is unable to speak, left with his aunt on December 2 to visit his father in Texas.

Even without the official identification, the court records say the body found buried behind the home on West 80th Street belongs to Jordan, who was developmentally disabled and unable to speak.

Sheriff's deputies arrived and spent 60 to 90 minutes attempting to catch the dogs - which the sheriff described as pit bull dogs. There were no signs of strangulation, leading Agnew to say Stephens probably wasn't killed in a homicide, according to WTVR .

Neighbors and friends started putting stuffed animals and other items on the porch, shortly after human remains were found in the backyard Tuesday.

A medical examiner on Wednesday was working to determine whether the apparent remains of a young child found buried in the backyard of a Cleveland home were those of a missing 5-year-old boy.

She also was unable to provide any other information about her son, police reports say.

The four children who lived at the home were taken into emergency custody by the Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services. Rodriguez's sisters spoke to WJYC-TV and said they "called children's protective services on Larissa numerous times". A social worker noted that one of the children inside the home was eating a cockroach-filled sandwich when they arrived. "I don't know why they would do this to him". Jordan was reportedly a special needs child and was speech-impaired.

Rodriguez's boyfriend, Chris, has been in jail since October on unrelated charges. He is now in custody for not paying child support. According to documents from children and family services, a neglect complaint was filed four days after the child was born on April 3, 2003.
