TMZ leaked images of the bridal dress, revealing that if the deal between a palace and a fashion house closes, Meghan will wear a highly feminine creation, a wedding dress that embraces her silhouette and has long sleeves.

Some questioned whether she deliberately wore it to upset Markle.

The princess is described on her website as a "Writer, Historian, Lecturer, Interior Designer and Art Consultant". While they were speaking, do you think Meghan noticed the brooch that Princess Michael of Kent (can we call her something else for f-ck's sake?) was wearing? Recognizing the insult, perhaps when Lainey Gossip picked it up, the princess is, ehm, distressed.

Given the rising popularity of Prince Harry's bride-to-be, it was only a matter of time before a legion of Meghan Markle doppelgängers went viral.

Princess Michael of Kent-wife of Prince Michael of Kent, Queen Elizabeth II's first cousin-was spotted wearing a racially offensive brooch on her coat while arriving to the palace with her husband.

"The fact is, of those who have married into the family since Prince Philip, I had more royal blood".

In 2016 she penned an essay in Elle UK in which she spoke at length about her mixed heritage.

She is thought to have been introduced to Ms Markle, who was attending her first such lunch after her engagement to Harry was announced last month.

People are outraged because Meghan Markle, whose mother is black, was also in attendance.

"I can not help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together", Lubomirski said.

In 2004, Princess Michael came under fire when she told a group of black patrons at a New York City restaurant to "go back to the colonies", the Guardian reported at the time.

In a subsequent TV interview, in which she attempted to defend her remarks she made matters worse, referring to African people as "adorable" as she insisted she was not a racist. I wanted experiences from Cape Town to right up in northern Mozambique.
