The Pro Football Hall of Fame running back, who was released from a Nevada prison on October 1 after serving time for his involvement in a September 2007 robbery in Las Vegas, caused enough of a scene in a Vegas casino that he was booted and banned from the property. While some reports claim that the former football star was drunk or belligerent during a visit to the property - Fox News notes a "drunken disturbance" and the sun noted the notorious parolee was "drunk and disruptive" - LaVergne claims any such reports are false.

Security showed up, and though Simpson was cordial to them, they removed him; he is now been permanently banned from the Cosmopolitan, TMZ reported.

A source said in the publication that OJ "was at the Clique bar" around midnight and he's been frequenting a lot of bars in the area recently.

A police dispatcher referred to Simpson by name - saying "Orenthal is here" - in an audio recording obtained by TMZ.

Congress grills former Equifax, Yahoo CEOs over identity data breaches
Indeed, the former CEO said, much of the facts behind the breaches remain shrouded in mystery. They answered questions about the Equifax breach in September and Yahoo's in March.

LaVergne says Simpson was not given a reason for the ban.

It's been pretty well known that OJ Simpson has basically been roaming around Vegas from bar to bar, casino to casino on the regular since he got out of prison.

Laying low isn't really in Simpson's nature. What better way to celebrate a release from prison after 9 years than parading around Vegas? Listen, I don't blame him.

Simpson was charged in the June 12, 1994 murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her current boyfriend, Ron Goldman.
