Melania Trump's friend confirms what we always knew about being First Lady

  • First lady Melania Trump was told by one of her young guests that she looked'like an angel as she invited youngsters to the White House Monday as part of the Christmas decorations reveal

As you can see, the White House now looks like the setting of a horror movie - and people on Twitter are having a field day.

But this year, Donald Trump fulfilled a campaign promise of sorts with his card.

The First Lady seemed blissfully unaware of how weird she looked standing there and eventually even cracked a smile.

The claims themselves came from a Vanity Fair profile of the First Lady published on Sunday.

The tree, which she and 11-year-old Barron greeted last week in front of the White House, is so large at 18 feet, 6 inches, it takes up almost the whole room.

Even though she's finally moved into the White House-she was the first First Lady to delay doing so, waiting five months after her husband's inauguration-Melania doesn't seem to have any more presence there than she did when she was back in NY.

The Blue Room's Christmas tree stands at 18 feet 6 inches tall and was brought into the White House last week via carriage from growers based out of Endeavor Wisconsin

There will be a lot of silver tinsel and gold in the White House this Christmas season thanks to the first lady. "She didn't want this come hell or high water", they told Vanity Fair.

She said: "I think he's missing a little bit of his old life".

Later, Mrs Trump voiced disapproval of the magazine piece, it was reported. She and Barron, in fact, made the move to Washington D.C.in early summer. She said, "It's not my thing, it's Donald's thing".

"One again part of the liberal media, this time Vanity Fair, has written a story riddled with unnamed sources and false assertions", Melania Trump's office said in a statement to CNN and Fox News.

Another longtime friend, Paolo Zampolli, scoffed at any suggestions that Melania is unhappy in her marriage or as First Lady, saying that "to be the most famous person in the world is not that bad". "There may never have been a First Lady less prepared for or suited to the role".

Zampolli is the former modeling-agency proprietor who represented the Slovenian-born former Melania Knauss when she first arrived in the United States in 1996. "She knows what she wants".
