Due to two arrests earlier this year, the judged ruled Meek had, in fact, violated his probation and sentenced him up to four years behind bars, with a minimum of two years.

According to Tacopina, during a meeting in her chambers previous year, Brinkley suggested that Meek Mill remake Boyz II Men's "On Bended Knee" and give her a shoutout in his song. She went on to say that his sentence would be served in a state prison and he'd be eligible for parole in two years.

The judge was unaffected by his plea and ordered him to be taken into custody.

The Associated Press reports that Philadelphia based judge, Judge Genece Brinkley, cited a failed drug test and a failure to comply with a court order restricting his travel.

One artist who was particularly vocal about Mill's prison sentence was Jay Z. In a Facebook post on Monday, the music mogul called out the justice system for its unfair treatment of another black man. Mill was also dated the singer-songwriter Nicki Minaj, which ended this year.

New orders boost growth in the United Kingdom services sector
Firms raised prices at a sharper rate to end-consumers than their costs rose, signaling a pickup in inflation over coming months. Business optimism softened even further below its long-run trend and lower than average in the first half of 2017.

Meek appeared in court in Philadelphia on November 6 for two recent arrests: one for getting into a fight at an airport in St. Louis, and one for recklessly driving a motorcycle through the streets of NYC.

This is the second time Meek has been found in violation of his probation. A system ostensibly created to hold people accountable after they have been released from prison instead punishes them for the tiniest of infractions.

Meek Mill's lawyer told the Inquirer the rapper will appeal his latest sentence, as well he should. "Then I'll be done with you", Brinkley added, according to Philly.com.

In August, the rapper, whose real name is Robert Rihmeek William, was charged with reckless endangerment for illegally riding his dirt bike in Inwood.
