Harvey Weinstein scandal: New claim alleges sex trafficking

Still-shaken actress Kadian Noble described a predatory Harvey Weinstein pouncing on her without warning during a brutal 2014 sexual assault in a Cannes hotel room.
The claim against Weinstein seeks damages for personal injury, expenses and consequential loss, among others, as well as against the American and British subsidiaries of the Weinstein Company as Weinstein's employer.
An actress has filed a lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein under a federal sex trafficking statue after she claims the disgraced mogul sexually assaulted her during a meeting in France.
But later, "in or about February, 2014", Weinstein allegedly approached Noble at Le Majestic Hotel in Cannes, France, and asked her "to come to his hotel room to review her reel with her and discuss further steps in securing the role he had previously targeted for her".
Weinstein then began watching Noble's reel according to the court filing while massaging the plaintiff's shoulders.
"I filed under the Federal sex trafficking law because I believe the facts as alleged in the complaint fit squarely within the statute", Jeff Herman, Noble's lawyer, told USA TODAY in a statement. According to the complaint, one producer told Kadian on the phone while she was in a hotel with Weinstein that she needed to be a "good girl and do whatever" Weinstein wanted for future work.
Noble has proceeded to claim that Bob and TWC were equally responsible and had full idea of Harvey's behaviour and intentions with her.
Weinstein "blocked her exit" next according to court papers and 'pulled down Kadian's shirt, revealing her breasts, and unbuckled his trousers and belt'.
Julio Jones stuns as Falcons win over the Bucs
But the Atlanta Falcons one-upped them at Mercedes-Benz Stadium thanks to the rocket arm of Mohamed Sanu . After nearly losing the football on a fake handoff, Sanu uncorked the touchdown pass to Jones.
Weinstein then exposed himself as they stood in front of a mirror, assuring the terrified Noble, "Don't worry". Employees even had code words communicating what they expected to occur, the lawsuit states. The suit says that Noble "told him to stop and attempted to leave the bathroom, but Harvey Weinstein blocked her exit".
A spokeswoman for Weinstein said Monday that he "denies allegations of non-consensual sex" and "has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances".
"Harvey wasn't acting alone".
The suit says Bob Weinstein and The Weinstein Company "knowingly participated in Weinstein's" trips to foreign countries for such purposes.
The company violated USA sex trafficking law by "benefiting from, and knowingly facilitating, the venture in which Harvey Weinstein traveled in foreign commerce to recruit or entice female actors into forced or coerced sexual encounters on the promise of roles", states the lawsuit.
"TWC employees knew to "take care" of the FOHs".
'Despite such knowledge, Bob Weinstein, as an executive of TWC, continued to pay for and facilitate these foreign trips for Harvey Weinstein'.
