The woman who won't have the ride-hailing services to complain about anymore is Laura Loomer, whose Twitter bio says she's an "investigative journalist" and "former Project Veritas operative".

A conservative blogger and Internet personality has been banned by the ride-sharing applications Lyft and Uber after making anti-Muslim comments on Twitter following Tuesday's terrorist attack in New York City.

Her public spat, where she racially targeted all Muslim drivers, holding them responsible for all the unrest in the country, led Uber to ban her from their services.

Lyft also confirmed it had deactivated Loomer's account.

Imagine telling your boss "Sorry, I'm 30 minutes late for work because of how racist I am".

Loomer's tweet, which included a photo of the women, was tagged to "200 Chambers Street", an area near the location where the attack, which took the lives of eight people and injured 11, happened.

This is not the first time Uber has banned a far-right activist for problematic behavior.

NY truck attack treated as terrorism; 8 dead, multiple injured
President Trump decried the attack on Twitter. "And then all of the sudden, four shots went off and we all just started running". Police said they had mobilized to the scene in Lower Manhattan and that one person was in custody, giving no further details.

Loomer released numerous posts on Twitter about Muslims on Tuesday and Wednesday, accusing passersby in hijabs of enjoying the attack in NY and complaining that taxi and ride-sharing companies hired extremists.

Loomer also retweeted an individual who claimed that they were kicked out of an Uber in September for being Jewish. Uber said it is cooperating with investigators.

She then suggested on Twitter that someone create a non-Muslim version of Uber and Lyft because she doesn't want to "support another Islamic immigrant driver". "This is insanity", she wrote. In the wake of the white nationalist protests in Charlottesville, Virginia earlier this year, they also banned far-right provocateur Tim Gionet, after a driver in Washington, DC booted him from her auto for allegedly making racially-charged remarks.

In the caption, Laura accused the women of "rubbing [the attack] in everyone's faces" by "aimlessly walking around in hijabs".

In June, Loomer disrupted a performance of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" because the character of the assassinated Roman dictator was costumed to resemble US President Donald Trump.

The Uzbek citizen living in Tampa, Florida had recently been staying in New Jersey, where the truck was rented, reports said.
