Chelsea goalkeeper and mooted Real Madrid target Thibaut Courtois is no closer to signing a new deal with the Premier League champions and instead to choosing to focus on a hectic fixture schedule for the Blues rather than resolve his long-term future.

"Regarding my contract, that's something where Chelsea must deal with my agent".

The keeper has been linked with a move to Madrid - with Real or former club Atletico - and rumours have intensified after Courtois' ex-girlfriend returned to Spain with his two children.

The stopper, who now earns £100,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge, wants the Blues to match the wages of Manchester United's David De Gea.

The Belgium worldwide will enter the final year of his current contract next summer.

Then-FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler called it a victory, saying the rules allowed the commission to act as an Internet "referee". With three Republican and two Democratic commissioners, the move to end net neutrality is all but certain to be approved.

Courtois is not rushing to resolve his future.

The Belgium worldwide is yet to commit himself to a new deal at Stamford Bridge, despite speaking of his desire to extend his stay during the close-season.

He told The Guardian: 'The most important thing is to perform well for myself and the team. "I don't think there have been any new developments." said Courtois.

According to HLN, Courtois is aware that Real Madrid want to sign him, and the stopper will therefore demand a salary hike in order to become one of the best-paid goalkeepers in the world.

Once promoted to first choice by the Blues, the commanding shot-stopper has gone on to make 125 appearances for the club - landing two Premier League titles and a League Cup along the way. Talks, the Belgium worldwide said, will not recommence until the end of the season.
