  • Blizzard is Bringing Back Vanilla 'World of Warcraft'

There's now no release date for World of Warcraft Classic, but we'll likely be hearing more about the server as we head into 2018.

Battle for Azeroth will pick up where Legion left off, increasing the level cap to 120, and creating two new island continent starting areas for players to begin the process. In addition to the just-announced expansion, Blizzard has made a decision to give in to players who've hated all the expansions to date and would rather play the original game, sans pandas and Lich Kings.

Players will explore the Zandalar empire and the home of Jaina Proudmoore, Kul Tiras. There's no timeframe for launch, but the experience should be welcome from WoW players pining for the old days. Races aren't the only unique feature of Battle for Azeroth, though, as players will also discover uncharted islands. Blizzard is well aware of this and is also aware of how long people have been playing the MMORPG for.

Bills make last-second trade for Panthers receiver Kelvin Benjamin
Jordan Matthews is the Bills leading receiver through seven games, but he has just 15 receptions for 193 receiving yards. He was solid last season, finishing the year with 63 catches for 941 yards, and he was on a similar pace this season.

Players will try to earn their favor and upon doing so will and unlock each race. Otherwise, you can expect Blizzard to update the official World of Warcraft site with plenty of FAQs and features as the game moves through development. This means you'll be able to choose the order you advance through zones and take on quests from the get-go. "Classic WoW and current WoW really don't work the same way any more".

"Battle for Azeroth will make you prouder than ever to declare your allegiance to the noble Alliance", said Blizzard's senior vice president and executive producer J Allen Brack on stage.
