The woman called police Saturday afternoon, September 30 from her Rock Hill home after opening the box.

The priority mail package that was shipped from Newport Beach, California not only excluded her yoga mat but the box was filled with illegal Oxycodone with a street value of $400,000.00.

A woman in SC got quite a surprise after opening a package she thought contained a yoga mat she had ordered, but found almost 20,000 illegal pills valued at $400,000 instead.

According to York County drug unit commander Marvin Brown, "vacant apartments, homes where people have gone to work for the day", are usually where drugs are shipped as someone can be there to await the arrival of the package.

An incident report said the woman did not know who had used her name and address to send the package, according to the New York Post.

Inside the package, the two bags contained approximately 10,000 pills each at a price of $20 a pill. In fact, more than 20,000 oxycodone pills were handed to her, worth about $400,000.

The drugs were actually sent to the woman's old house, which is still vacant, but because the address was misspelled the package was re-routed using her name.

They believe that they are probably counterfeit and could have come from Mexico.

The man called police, asking them to open the package.

"It's scary to think that something like that could be right down the road and so, I'll say, easily accessible", said neighbor Nicole Riddle.
