Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is now doing the media rounds to help promote What Happened, her new book that details her shocking defeat in the 2016 presidential election.

Late on election night after realizing this was not going as expected, she called Trump to concede and then she called President Obama.

Jane Pauley asked Clinton on "CBS Sunday Morning".

One could imagine Clinton crafting a final, meaningful political chapter for herself aimed at inspiring a women's movement so that 53 percent of white females won't vote for the next toxic masculinity candidate just because he's white; or challenging the conservative billionaires' decades-long effort to dilute or suppress poor and brown votes by gerrymandering and using the courts. Millions of white people.

She spoke about how hard it was to attend Trump's Inauguration, as she was the former first lady with former President Bill Clinton.

"I should have done a better job of demonstrating 'I get it, ' " she said, noting that "maybe I missed a few chances".

There was even a brief discussion of the infamous "basket of deplorables" smear Clinton launched against Trump's supporters.

The UK accounts for 40 per cent of Bank of Ireland's loan book, mainly through its joint venture with the British Post Office. He said while he had ultimate responsibility for Bell Pottinger, he had been "misled" over the campaign by colleagues.

Clinton added that she failed to draft a concessions speech the night of the election and still felt awful about losing. As Clinton was explaining how candidate Trump played to the "millions of people who were upset about gains that were made by others", Pauley finished Clinton's thought and blamed it on "millions of white people". And- you know, my share of Chardonnay.

"Why do you think that word "deplorable" was circulating in your mind?"

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Clinton saved her most vehement invective for opponent Bernie Sanders, an Independent Senator from Vermont, whom she defeated in the 2016 Democratic Primary.

"But you offended some people who didn't personally feel deplorable at all", Pauley continued.

Diane Hessen, the author of the internal study, found that after Clinton's remark, "all hell broke loose" among the group of voters she was tracking at the time.

CLINTON: I don't buy that at all.

"But I'm a former first lady, and former presidents and first ladies show up", she said. But privately, Hillary says, she was crushed.
