The latest Fox News personality to be accused of sexual harassment spoke out on Twitter Monday after being suspended from the network, pending the results of an investigation.

Fox confirmed Saturday that Mr. Bolling had been suspended "pending the results of an investigation, which is now underway", a day after HuffPost reported that he had sent an unsolicited photo of male genitalia to three female colleagues.

The news that Fox News Channel has suspended host Eric Bolling brought to mind a local angle: He attended Rollins College - Class of 1984 - to play baseball and told me it was "a fantastic experience" in a December interview. A series of substitute anchors will fill in for him during his suspension, according to Fox.

Allegations of sexual harassment ended the Fox News careers of Roger Ailes, the chief executive, last year and host Bill O'Reilly in April this year.

One of the women said when she told him to stop sending her pics, Bolling did not respond. "Thank you. I look forward to clearing my name asap".

Several other Fox News employees confirmed they had seen the images as well.

The inappropriate texting allegedly happened several years ago, before any of Fox's recent sexual harassment scandals came to light. In June, he signed a long-term deal with Fox News.

She then stated that Bolling often called and texted her after shows to talk or to apologize for his behavior on camera, only to do it again after her next appearance. He said he wanted to fly me out to NY for in-studio hits and to have 'fun.' He asked me to have meals with him on several occasions, but I found excuses not to go.

In 2010, I consoled a make-up artist (who no longer works for Fox) after Gene Simmons sexually harassed her, and this was not his first time doing so. "Once, he took me up to his office in NY, showed me his baseball jerseys, and in the brief time I was there, let me know that his office was his favorite place to have sex", she added. Fox's full statement reads, "Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is now underway".

Bolling is a co-host of "The Specialists", a panel program that airs every weekday at 5 p.m.

"We are investigating this matter and, all claims will be taken into account", a Fox News spokesman said in a statement to the press.

The backlash came down so hard on O'Reilly that Fox News was forced to pull the plug and fire one of their most popular names over the last two decades.
