Corden told the AP that the show will defer to Bennington's family on whether or not to air the episode. In the episode, released on 9 August, Corden asks Smith about the long-running rumours he will portray the former U.S. president's in a future film.

"Carpool Karaoke: The Series", Apple's second original series, has debuted and is now available to stream for Apple Music subscribers.

The first episode of Apple's Carpool Karaoke - starring Late Late Show host James Corden, and actor Will Smith - is now available to watch on Apple Music.

Corden is an executive producer on the show and will appear in some of the episodes.

Stars taking part in the series include Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and John Legend.
