Apple has introduced "the world's most advanced displays" in the 2017 iPad Pro variants.
The truly odd thing about this year's release of the newiPad Pro is it nearly feel like they released them too early.
Moving from a 9.7-inch to a 10.5-inch display means there's about 17 percent more screen. Aside from hugely expensive new iMac Pro (US$5000 for an entry level unit), the rest of the Mac range received a speed bump courtesy of a Kaby Lake heart transplant.
Baked in by default is the True Tone display, the cinema-standard P3 colour gamut, and the Promotion technology powering the 120Hz refresh rate screen.
On the outside, we still have basically the same iPad, though this time - depending from where you're viewing it from - it's either upsized from the garden-variety 9.7-inch iPad or a toned-down original 12.9-inch iPad Pro. - The iPads are available in Silver, Space Grey and Gold.
But here's the thing: I'm also an iPad Pro user, and I love my iPad Pro.

The one thing I did notice after using the new iPad Pro for a day is how responsive it is compared to previous iPads.
The design tweak is a much-needed change that not only makes web browsing and multitasking more enjoyable, but also gives the iPad a more sleek and modern look. It looks like Apple doesn't want to go to the effort of designing a whole new motherboard with Kaby Lake support.
If taking pictures with a tablet is your thing, this has the same 12-megapixel camera as the iPhone 7 and a 7-megapixel front facing camera. Unless you are a sketch artist who only uses one or two apps, for example, the Pro felt jarring. For a 256GB model with cellular connectivity and AppleCare, Smart Keyboard, and Pencil, you'll end up paying around $1,300 after tax.
While iOS 11 won't be available for a few months yet, it's worth bearing in mind the improvements it's set to bring if you're buying an iPad Pro now. Check out the video below to see the original apps and their iOS 11 correspondents. But it's not the only tablet out there that's geared towards professionals.
Starting at £619 for 64GB and running to £889 for 512GB, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro is a big step up in price over the tablet it replaces. In March 2017, Apple launched the 9.7-inch iPad, which was priced at $329.
But now you need to step away for a moment, and this presents a conundrum: There's nowhere to put your Apple Pencil. According to Mac Rumors, the first iPad Pro models began shipping out over the weekend with most offering June 13 delivery dates. While a keyboard is an essential accessory if you plan to use the iPad Pro as a replacement for a laptop or even a desktop, Kovach wasn't a fan of Apple's own solution. On the basis of the excellent 10.5-inch iPad Pro, it deserves to be the former.

All of which thrilled the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which helped organize numerous national counterprotests. Anti-Islamic law protester Denise Zamora, 39, said she and others in her group were not opposed to all Muslims.
Or will it be the final gasp for a sector that's unable to find a place for itself between the worlds of laptops and smartphones? The new 2017 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models have gone live and customers can check stock at local Apple Stores.
