Ukraine says detains prankster who mooned during Eurovision

The stage invader, wrapped in an Australian flag, took to the stage during a performance by last year's victor Jamala, and bared his bottom.

It was initially thought the streaker was an Australian but it was later confirmed the man was Vitalii Sediuk, a self-described prankster known for accosting celebrities on red carpets.

The singer maintained her composure and continued her song as security dragged him off the stage.

The incident was beamed to an audience of millions around the world and widely shared on social media during Saturday's show, which took place in Kiev.

Florida State Ousts Hogs In Opening Round Match
O'Sullivan pulled the Midshipmen to within one as the sophomore converted a free-position opportunity to close the gap to 5-4. The victory also snapped a three-match losing streak for the Bears and closed out Lamar's season at 17-8.

Mr Sediuk has a history of carrying out pranks.

It was a brief embarrassment for Australia who have been invited to perform at the competition for the past three years by the host country on a wildcard entry. That might seem like a laugh, but Sedluk was also charged with assault when he tried to bury his face in Brad Pitt's groin at a premiere in 2014.

Although Portugal won the Eurovision Song Contest this weekend in Ukraine by a resounding margin, one of the more memorable stage performances of the night came from an entirely unexpected quarter.
