Kensington Palace tweeted out a new photograph of Princess Charlotte to mark her second birthday.

The Duchess, a skilled photographer who is responsible for many of her family's most memorable images, captured her daughter outside their home in Anmer Hall in Norfolk, England.

And later that year, Charlotte made her first official trip as a member of the royal family.

Kensington Palace shared the snap on their official Twitter account, posting: "The Duke and Duchess are delighted to share a new photograph of Princess Charlotte to mark her second birthday tomorrow".

She is officially named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, in tribute to her late grandmother Diana, Princess of Wales, and her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

The family is expected to spend more time in London in the coming years.
