  • Sledgehammer Notes That Upcoming Call Of Duty Will Be Biggest Game Yet

Following the official title reveal from Activision, pictures of promotional material for Call of Duty: WWII were sent to CharlieIntel which confirm the November 3 release date. Call of Duty WWII is Sledgehammer's biggest game project yet. Call of Duty games have sold more than 250 million copies since 2003, generating more than $15 billion in revenues. Players will also enjoy exciting new ways to interact and socialize with their friends and the Call of Duty community.

Back to the roots indeed, if anyone remembers Call of Duty 2.

It was reported that the company made a decision to return to historical conflict after last year's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare didn't have the same success as the previous year's Black Ops 3. These few details are still hopeful ones, as previous co-op efforts in the series were markedly more limited. The stream will feature Sledgehammer Games co-studio heads and founders Michael Condrey and Glen Schofield. Call of Duty: WWII will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Acitvision has officially announced the next game in the hit Call of Duty franchise with Call of Duty: WWII! But it also teases that there will be new social elements for Call of Duty: World War 2. Remarkably, the new one will be its third installment now with Activision.

With release still many months away, Call of Duty fans have turned their attention to pre-order offerings for the game, which will surely launch following the April 26 reveal. There isn't much to them, but it sure is nice to see a Thompson submachine gun again.

Like every other year, expect Call of Duty: WWII to land this November in all home consoles.

The images gathered in this Imgur gallery show USA soldiers storming what looks like Normandy beach in France, also known as D-Day - one of the most infamous operations from World War II.
